Saturday on Walden's Mountain... April 6

Quiet Time...

Temple of the Holy Spirit

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple
and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person;
for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.”

1 Corinthians 3:16-17

*****
Good Saturday Morning!

Waiting for Pack Time...

Maxey getting his Daddy Cuddles...

Lettuce is growing well...
I can start picking this top tray soon...

Putting some little filters in the vents...
perhaps that will stop a little of the dust :-)

Barnyard Time...

Maggie's ready!!

Fan Club...

Hunting for eggs...

Yep!

I was working in Mom's room
putting a FireStik on the TV
so I can listen to the radio in there
and stream if we want to sit in there
to watch TV...
It is such a pretty room...

Casey was looking for us as well...

Lanny is working on a new wood piece...
he loves to burn it and sand it...

Maggie is trying to play with Max...
he is not cooperating...

So she decided to play
with her Llama...

Sitting on the patio
enjoying the water sounds...,
it is still a bit chilly !!

But it's sunny...
that helps!

Started a couple new Microgreens trays...

Lanny put wood in the stove
just in case we needed a fire...
Casey is hoping :-)

We had Egg Salad and Tomato Slice
Sandwiches for lunch...

... then a snooze...

Then our neighbor called and said a hen
was roaming around down on Johnson Gap...
the day before she was seen with three other hens
and a rooster...
there were feathers here and there
and the rooster was mangled and dead...
we brought her home...

Her name will be
"Lucky Lady"...

Of course the other
Biddys are bullying her
but she is holding her own...

Green on the Grape Vine...

Rhoda is usually the worst Biddy of all
but for some reason she seems to have
befriended Lucky...

Lanny is nearly finished with the fresh pebbles
around the perimeter of the back yard...

We are going to run down to Home Depot
and get a few more bags...

She is definitely pretty...
I think she is a Columbian Wyandotte
from the pictures I found...

For Supper we had
Pork, Cabbage, Potatoes and Carrots...

And Biscuits...

Very YUM!!!

Well, the chores are done...
Puppy Piles are picked up...
Goats are in for the evening
and we are ready to get cleaned up
and settle down on the couch
with our pack...

"Harry Potter
and the Chamber of Secrets"
is on the big screen tonight...

Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
