Wednesday on Walden's Mountain... May 8

Quiet Time...

🌺🎢

“He was despised and forsaken of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭NASB

Good Wednesday Morning World...

Pack Time!!!
It was 70 outside and almost too warm
to leave the door open this morning...

Ready for Black Out...

Feeding the Pups...
Maggie is way back behind the island in the kitchen...
have to separate them during meals :-)

Out to the Barnyard...

My Fan Club...

Well, one of the ducks just couldn't wait!!!
And the hens are wondering if it's something for them!

Maggie found a varmint hole :-)

Fiona likes what is in here!
I put some sunflower seed...

Digging Mud Holes...

I think they are growing...
they are definitely friendlier!!

Lanny is arranging the branches for the girls...

Burning some boxes before it rains...

I gave the horses some carrots...
Dandy Boy!

And Takoda...

It's easier to give them treats before Paula lets them out...
they are big and get frisky and ornery together
and I am a little too old to man handle big animals!!!

Sparkly Day...

Where is my Animal Cracker!!

So, it started raining...
REALLY raining with hail...
but these two are snug as bugs in their house
and don't mind a bit!

But the fur kids did...
Max even got in my lap...

Maggie is stuck close,

And Murph by my head...
it IS awfully loud on this metal barn roof!

We are still fighting a tiny leak around the wood stove chimney
so he goes up when it is raining so he can determine where
it is coming from...

The pups watching from their porch...

Pup Dinner...
same set up :-)

Then Lanny and I ran down to the Clinton Walmart...
we got some shoes and he got
a new pair of jeans :-)

Then when we got home I warmed up
the pintos from last night,
smothered a couple slices of my herb bread,
cut up a tomato and sliced an onion...

VOILA!!!

The Goats are in for the evening,
all the feed is put away,
the pup piles are disposed of,
we are ready for the evening...

tonight we will watch
"GI Joe #1" :-)

Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
