Hello Friday!
Murph jumped up quick and took
the spot against my leg...
Maggie was a little put out!
But she came over in a bit
and snuggled next to Murph...
I am not sure that she doesn't think it's me...
Then Daddy came in and the Pack is complete...
Second Day Germination...
still amazes me...
Out to the Barnyard Critters...
Egg Hunt...
I take out some rolled oats every morning
and the chickens (and goats)
think it is a pretty cool treat!
Breakfast Time...
Paula had a doctors appointment at 9:45...
when she finished we met her downtown...
...at Hole in the Wall!!!
SO good!
We also made some deliveries
and stopped at Aldi's
for a few grocery items...
...we headed home for a snooze...
First Lanny checked for eggs...
...and we rested for about an hour...
After our rest
Lanny cut up a watermelon I bought Wednesday
at the Produce Stand.....
I ventured out into the heat
and filled all the water containers for the critters
with fresh cool water...
and I also treated the pond and backwashed the filter...
I have never had a water hyacinth flower!
It is SO pretty...
We are still SO full from that fantastic lunch,
so we will snack on watermelon and peaches...
I also have some carrots, sweet peppers and cucumbers
prepped and ready to nibble...
I have been trying to eat more of that kind of snack at night...
we eat way too much sugar around here!!!

Tasha said the doctor told James to EAT!!!
He just needs to push thru and do it.
He is eating a little oatmeal by mouth
and can drink Ensure or Boost.
Continue to pray that he starts eating more!!!

Doc encourages Paula to continue
with the Immunotherapy...
She is taking meds for the thyroid
and the rapid heart rate,
and for the swelling,
so pray that she can tolerate the treatments with
the help of the meds...

Chores are done,
We are ready to call it a night...
Tonight we will watch
the next
"Lethal Weapon"
It's been awhile since we watched it
so it will probably be OK...
the jokes get old after a couple sequels
so they aren't all worth watching often :-)
But we always like the first one!
