This is Pepper...
she has the most beautiful tail...
we don't get to see her often because she is our broody one...
she has been sitting for several months!
The other hens lay eggs near her and she takes them,
and then we take them from her...
she gets a bit annoyed, but they aren't fertile.
We have given her fertile eggs that we bought twice
but the other hens break them...
We don't need chicks anyway!!

Murphy took Maggies spot by my leg...
She got over it :-)
Pack Time Bible Study...
First day teeny sprouts...
I love this old calendar...
I have to change it every month...
James gave it to Mom and Dad
MANY years ago...
and now it is mine :-)
Breakfast Time...
We got half an inch over night...
Breakfast Club...
Out to the sloshy Barnyard...
it is such a mess!
Pup Pile Patrol...
Tomatoes are going nuts...
Sparkly Day...
My pups follow me room to room...
but I am spending a LOT of time in here
working on my Christmas presents...
Berries for the girls...
both furred and feathered :-)
Paula's Sunpatiens are SO pretty!
We ran down to Home Depot
and to drop off some file folders
to our granddaughter Molly,
and then Paula treated us to Shoney's!!!
My first of about three plates!!!
The boys are hard at work...
Rob and his two sons and a couple friends
are working on Nolan's room...
After that breakfast (it was a late one)
we needed a little Siesta...
Then I was back in the Craft Room
hard at work...
while the pups keep watch...
A friend of Rob's gave him a perfectly good
Cement Mixer!!!
Now even Max is keeping an eye out
while I am working...
He would actually like to get into a drawer
or a box or a closet :-)
So we were a tiny bit hungry...
I made us a Black Forest Ham Sandwich...
all we needed!
Snacks, of course, will come later...
The chores are done...
Barnyard is ready for the evening...
Tonight we will continue with Marvel...
