Thursday on the Mountain... April 10

 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

☔️

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.””

Matthew 9:37-38 ESV

“But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.”

Psalm 79:13 ESV

“And when they came to the place that is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left.”

Luke 23:33 ESV

“We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.”

Romans 6:6 ESV

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”

1 John 1:8-10

It's Thursday!!

My Pile of Pups...

And Max is waiting for his Daddy...

Bible Study Time...

Just some tiny changes in the lettuce seed...
it should be popping open by tomorrow...

Baby lettuce...

They get warm under the blankets...

Fur Kid Breakfast Time...

Daddy wanted Cinnamon Raisin Bread
this morning so no eggs for the pups...
But they like the Cat Kibble
and think it is a big treat :-)

Freeze Drying some Salami...
I found a GREAT price on it
at UGO yesterday...

Out to the Barnyard...

Pile Patrol...

Minor construction
on the Mountain Swallow nest...

Blue Birds are on the ball!

Making some Chocolate Chip Brownies
for the Kids Game Night...

Also got a good deal
on a Boston Butt at UGO
so I am canning it...

Brownies are done...

Brownies are done...
these are for us :-)

He decided to mow
before it rained...
say a prayer for him...
he is still having the kidney pain...

Boiling some eggs
to share with Rob and Molly
and with Paula...
Duck Eggs :-)

Murph was guarding the door...
no telling why...

Pork is done :-)

Made us a THICK Fried Baloney Sandwich...
I bought a roll of Hebrew National
at UGO yesterday and cut it really thick...
Lanny loves Fried Baloney
and he loves it THICK!

Made Tortillas
for tonights Mexican...

These came out a bit thick,
but they will be more like a
Gordita, only made with flour and not corn...
they are still flexible and I am sure they
will be fine...
just not thin tortillas...

Fur Kid Dinner Time...

We got a little rain, but not too much...
enough to water in the grass seed...

I ran over to take Paula her
boiled eggs and took a pic of
Korky and Kody
since I took one of only
Katie last time :-)
Korky, as you know,
is Maggies brother
but he is a LOT bigger than
she is :-)

We are having Mexican for Supper Tonight...
Like a Big Taco :-)

The Goats are in for the night,
the Barnyard is buttoned up
and ready for the evening...
I can hear more thunder
rumbling in the distance...
I think some more
weather is coming in tonight...

...we will be in our evening attire soon
and ready to settle down on the couch
with our Fur Kids for Movie Time...

So, last night we watched
"Dragon Heart",
so tonight, staying with the Dragon theme,
we will watch
"Eragon"...

*****

Good Night, God. Bless and Sweet Dreams...
