It's Friday!!!
The next few days are supposed
to be dry and VERY hot!!!
Max rushed out the door before it
even opened all the way...
"Fingernail Moon"
as James used to say...
and the Eastern Star
(it's Venus)
low on the horizon...
Bible Study Time
with the Pack...
Train whistle,
an occasional frog,
a noisy Wren
and Blue Bird...
soft clucking of the hens...
Bucky hasn't announced morning yet...
he must be sleeping in!
Waiting for Breakfast,
but first I take care of the lettuce...
And then it's
Fur Kid Breakfast Time...
Murph is thinking about it...
But Maggie digs right in...
It's light so early
so the Goats and Littles
are anxious to come out...
I KNOW those babies could
fly over the gate,
but they just don't get it yet :-)
Out to the Barnyard...

to dig under the rug edges :-)

I was just reading that an
avocado is the BEST food
to break a fast in the morning :-)

The Chickens are ecstatic!
I will start freezing some every day
and then I have a nice treat
for them in the winter...
it's pure protein !!
I got beef bones from Misfit
yesterday, so I roasted them
along with the chicken carcass
and have bone broth simmering
in the crock pots today...

the house smells SO good!!!
Picked some herbs
for the freeze dryer...
sage and basil...
Sparkly Berries
from yesterday...
She is admiring
herself in the reflection...
not really, but she COULD be :-)
Grilled Black Forest Ham and Cheese
for our Lunch...
Rose Petal Treat...
I cut some wild grape
from over the electric fence...
the Ladies like to nibble on it...
Fur Kid Supper Time...
Making fajita filling
with a couple of the gorgeous
bell peppers, the leak
and some of the chicken
we got from Misfits yesterday...
YUM!
and we put it on
my home made Gorditas/Tortillas...
Day is done...can't say "gone the sun"
because we seldom see
the sun go down :-)
We got to bed LONG
before that this time of year!
All the chores are done and
we are ready to snuggle down
on the couch with the Pack
for Movie Time...
Tonight we continue with
"Star Trek: Final Frontier"...
not a favorite,
but we always watch it anyway...
it has it's moments...
