 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

🐐🐓

“Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 54-58 ESV

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

Colossians 2:6-7 ESV

Last Evening...

The Goats were in for the night...

And our little beggars
while we had our Movie Snacks...

They stare,
plate to mouth...

It is still light when we go to bed...
this was around 8
and the littles were all
sitting by the gate...

I think it is slowing down
and they can relax without
all the other biddies
picking on them...

They were all talking about
who was gonna roost where
when they go in the coop :-)

*****
Good Morning Thursday!

Max likes to go out
with me to open the big bay doors...
then he sits for a moment
to admire his domain :-)

Checked on the Ladies
and the dark
spot on the lower right
are all four littles
snuggled at Fiona's side :-)

Study Time...
and the light are on
this morning!!

We can hear the birds,
the frogs,
and of course,
Bucky :-)

Baby Lettuce...

Fed the Fur Kids...
Murphy did eat today...

Then out to the Barnyard...

Common Milkweed...

The Koi Pond is nearly covered again...

I removed quite a bit and put it
in the Duck Pond...

Still could take more...

Lantana

More Lantana...

Rose Petal Treats...

Peeping Tom...
my Sweetie in the kitchen...

Oh MY!!!
I think I need to make some pickles!

Dad's Breakfast
and Pup Treat Time...

And my Breakfast...
I LOVE avocado with
olive oil drizzled on top!

It started raining so they took shelter...
you can tell it's no big deal
until it goes on for
DAYS and DAYS :-)

Maggie don't care 'bout nothin'...
well, she isn't happy when
the power goes out :-)

Made some Refrigerator Pickles
with a few of those cukes...

Lanny is getting some
weeds away from the fence
before it starts raining again...

I cut some low hanging
Persimmon branches
and the Goats can eat it...
when it stops raining...

This is the prettiest
that this Mimosa has been...
I love them...
but they ARE messy :-)

Chillin'

Sparkly Day...

Planted another tray of lettuce...

Paula saw one of the Baby Wrens
fall into a vase on the Big Barn shelf...
she and Lanny rescued it...
the Wrens LOVE nesting
in the Big Barn even
tho there is a very good hunter cat
living here!

Made us a Grilled Ham and Cheese
(Pepperjack YUM)
for Lunch...

I got my box from Misfit Market today...
I wish I had taken a picture
but I was SO excited...

Anyway, I cut up taters, carrots, onions
and put six quarts in the canner...
I'll take a picture when they come out...

There were also two organic
chickens (which I will cook up
and then make broth with the
carcasses)....

Some gorgeous Bell Peppers,
Leeks and Sweet Potatoes...

*****

I fed the Fur Kids their Supper...

Looked out the kitchen window
and saw my Honey
mowing the back forty...

For Supper we had
Panko Breaded Chicken,
Baked Sweet Potato
and Salad
as well as Home Made
Ciabatta Garlic Bread...

Maggie has her eyes on me...

They always get to lick our plates...

Every time I see one of them like this
I think they are dead :-)

Fish Feeding Time...

I don't seem to be
making any headway with the Lettuce
do I?

*****

Critters are ready for the evening...
Tucked in the Goats
and put the Feeds away...

Pup Piles are removed
and all is well on the Mountain...

*****

Tonight we continue with

"Star Trek: The Voyage Home"...

"Captain, there be whales here!"...

Love it...

I read that after this movie came out

that the whale population increased

over the coming years.
