The Girls were comfy
when we put them in for the night...
They wanted some of Dad's
popcorn during the movie :-)
They want ANYTHING
that we are putting
into our mouths :-)

Good Morning Tuesday...
our power went out around one am
and came back on around four...
I was prepared to just lay in the darkness
until sunset if it didn't come back on...
it is VERY dark up here on the mountain...
But it was like a plan...
around 4:15 the lights came on
and it was morning as usual...
Rain for the last 24 hours...
seems like more....
Waiting for us to sit down...
Bible Study Time...
listening to Bucky...
he doesn't care what time it is...
also a few frogs
and a very noisy BlueBird :-)
All four babies sleep with the Goats
just about every night now...
They fly over the gate at night
but cannot seem to figure out
how to fly back over to the
Barnyard in the morning...
they just wait for me to let them out :-)
But I have to feed the Fur Kids first :-)
Murph did eat...
slowly but surely...
Now it's time
to head for the Barnyard...
Ok, I am here...
... come on out!
Pickin' up Piles :-)
I should have
suckered these tomato plants...
I'll take some more
water lettuce
out to the Duck Pond today :-)
Sparkly Day...
Lanny blew all the dust
and leaves out of the Big Barn
and cleaned the tables...
there are Ridgeline vents
and stuff blows in all the time...
I am sure it keeps it a bit cooler in here
but with the high winds we get on this mountain
it also blows all the little sticks
and stems and leaves in...
along with LOTS of dust and dirt!
I pulled out a LOT of
the water lettuce from the Koi Pond
and threw them into the Duck Pond...
Kinda cute!
And several frogs
jump in every time I walk up to the pond...
Frogs are a sign of
a healthy environment :-)
We had to run down the hill for
a 1 o'clock appointment
so we figured that afterwards
we would just go eat...
we went to
Calhouns :-)
I LOVE the Oriental Chicken Salad
and Lanny always gets
Catfish!!!
Got home a bit past the
Fur Kids Dinner Time
but they forgave me...
Got them fed and then went out and
took care of the
Barnyard Crew...
We are ready to snuggle up
on the Couch and watch
the next Star Trek...
"Wrath of Khan"...
