Quiet Time in Bible Study...
ππΏ
“In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,”
Hebrews 5:7-9 ESV
“Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.”
Psalm 136:26 ESV
“The beginning of strife is like letting out water, so quit before the quarrel breaks out. He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord.”
Proverbs 17:14-15 ESV
“But the wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt. There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.””
Isaiah 57:20-21 ESV
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”
Colossians 3:23-24 ESV

Hello Wednesday Morning...
about one minute after I took this picture
all the lights went out...
So we are having our Bible Study Time
in the dark...
It is SO quiet when the power is off...
we heard a distant train and occasionally
a soft breeze will play the wind chimes...
a frog now and then,
but no birds...
except for Bucky :-)
The power came back on around 5:50... YAY!!!
So I took care of the lettuce
and fed the Fur Kids...
Then we headed out
to the Barnyard...
He has to brush the rug
at the gate OFTEN
because the hens think
it is the OutHouse :-)
Plus, they are
always hanging around in front of the gate...
Pickin' up Piles...
I need to add some more
this morning...
the Koi Pond is OVERRUN!
Before long the Duck Pond
will be overrun :-)
Watching my Man
thru the kitchen window...
the view is good
from both sides :-)
His Breakfast and Pup Treat...
and my Avocado half!
Egg Muffins for
Lanny and for Paula...
And Sparkly Berries
for the Critters...
Paula and I left out around 9:30...
delivered some eggs to Karyn,
ran in to Clinton Drug Store,
stopped at the CoOp for
Chicken and Goat Feed...
then headed for Oak Ridge and
ran in to Tractor Supply
for some Dog Food and Cat Food...
We grabbed our Lunch
at Dairy Queen...
Chicken Fingers and Fries...
with gravy as the dipping sauce :-)
I got home in time to feed the fur kids
and then we sat on the couch
and YouTubed for a bit...
it was cool in here :-)
Lanny mowed the back yard
and I spread grass clippings between the veggies...
It is SO hot!!!
We put the "Kids" to bed
and buttoned up the barnyard
for the chickies...
Ready to settle down with the Pack
and watch the next
"Star Trek: Search for Spock"...
one of my favorites :-)
No supper tonight
so we will snack to our hearts content :-)
*****
Goodnight Everyone...
God Bless You All
and
Sweet Dreams!
