Quiet Time in Bible Study...
π¦ππ
“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!”
Psalm 84:10-12 ESV
“He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.”
Psalm 103:10-14 ESV
“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 ESV

Look at this gorgeous girl...
Sadie started high school this year...
and her current obsession is
The Grinch!
Her Momma says this is not all
of her collection...
just all she could hold at once :-)

πΆ "Monday, Monday...
So good to me..." πΆ
Waning Crescent...
and a lovely clear sky...
A sweet visitor on the driveway...
Yea, I love 'em!
Waiting for Pack Time...
He lays by me when we first. go to bed,
and comes in off and on during the night...
but mostly, he sleeps here
on the back of the couch...
hence, the deep permanent dent :-)
Max waits on the back
of his Daddy's side...
not often enough to make
a dent :-)
I always check the cameras
first thing...
look how Baby is using
Fiona's hip as a pillow :-)
Max sure does love his Daddy!!!
Bible Study with the Pack...
and the door is open...
This morning we heard
Barred Owls calling...
another favorite sound!!
Of course,
Maggie digs right in!
Murphy doesn't budge
from his nap...
Max is gung ho as well...
I ignored him for a few minutes
and he finally came down
and checked it out...
Out to the Barnyard...
The Goats are laying
by the door...
they usually sleep
close to the door
in the summer...
Double Rose of Sharon...
Checking for tomatoes...
it's getting old...
Watching his Daddy
makin' Breakfast...
Mags is waiting as well...
Sparkly Day...
He mowed the Barnyard
with the TORO...
Gave Dandy a couple cookies
but I think he wanted more :-)
I went with Lanny down to
the Bank...
I just like to ride along...
it's next to the Goodwill,
so we ran in there and found a couple things...
Monday is Senior Day :-)
Had to wait for a train
on the way home...
I like trains...
We split a Tuna on
a Homemade Hot Dog Bun for Lunch...
Mowing the Back Yard...
it is so HOT out there,
but it was finally dry enough...
I was pulling something out
to make for Supper
and Lanny decided
he wanted a Burger...
So....
we ran down to Git-N-Go...
We ate the Mama's Old Fashioned Burger
and got Paula a Hot Dog to go...
Then we ran in to
Anytime Fitness to sign up for
Silver Sneakers...
we just HAVE to
get in better shape...
I could exercise at home
but I just don't...
we always enjoyed going
to the gym together,
so I will let you know how that goes :-)
Goats are in their house,
Barnyard is buttoned up,
all the other chores are done
and we are ready to settle on the couch
with our little Fur Pack
for tonights entertainment...
*****
Last night we watched
"The Shootist"...
Lanny said he thought we had
seen it WAY back,
but I just didn't remember it...
Made in 1976,
it's the last movie
that John Wayne made....
Tonight we are going to watch
"El Dorado"...
Made in 1966 with JW,
Robert Mitchum and James Caan
*****
Good Night, Sleep Tight :-)
Pray for America...
