Good Morning...

Still waking up a bit earlier than I

would like to

(my body is still 

on Daylight Savings Time :-)

but not as bad as I thought...

I am still getting about the same

amount of sleep and my

sleep watch says it's OK :-)

Max was waiting on the back

of the couch for his Daddy

and came down immediately

to cuddle...

Bible Study time...

I got a bit sidetracked this morning

so I didn't take my wake up picture...

I like seeing the temp changes

day to day...

One distraction is that we got a new electric 

"tea pot" yesterday and I was getting it going for our

morning warm drinks... we are going to try to drink

more green and black tea and this pot steeps

loose leaf, which is a lot better for us

(not having tea bags)...

Anyway, I am going to say that this morning I am

thankful for the little convenient gadgets we

have in our lives... this little tea pot is pretty,

boils the water fast and makes a great cup of tea!!

A few days late

but I got the calendar switched to November...

it's old and a bit of work

to move the numbers into place...

but I love it!

That look...

waiting for breakfast...

They all ate,

no problem this morning...

Out to the Barnyard...

damp, but not raining...

Not in a rush to come out...

Checking for the one duck egg...

we are only getting one duck

egg per day...

the chickens are on strike,

or something!!!

They are molting but I cannot

believe we aren't getting

a single egg from 18 hens!

This boy was giving me

that look as well... :-)

Heading for the Gym...

glove weather...

Checked to see where all the chickies were...

of course, they're in the Goat House...

And then saw this little nut

thru the office window...

He thinks everything belongs to him...

this is Molly's car...

probably covered with cat paw prints now :-)

My sweet Hubby did a

very deep clean on this bathroom...

it smells SO good..

So I asked him to clean my shower stall

since I still have a hard time

getting down on the floor

for this type of job...

I think I will keep him!!!

Took the Berries out to the Critters...

Everyone loves them...

I have not sat down all day...

I was working in the kitchen

and so preoccupied that I didn't even

take a picture of our

delicious dinner...

I cooked a whole chicken

in the InstantPot and then

shredded it

and put the bones back in

to make a slow cook bone broth...

So for supper we had Chicken and Rice,

some roasted veggies that I had put in the freezer a 

few weeks ago, the green beans 

and sweet potato fries that I did

yesterday in the Air Fryer...

SO good and so filling...

comfort food :-)

The Barnyard is buttoned up

or battened down :-)...

and so is Dandy's stall...

I scooped out the you know what

so I am dusty, dirty and tired...

all the critters are fed and

ready for bed...

So am I...

ready for Jammies and the next

Deathly Hallows 1"
