Hello Friday!
Not bad out there this morning,
but there were some big
winds over night...
and we did lose power.
Didn't know it 'til this morning,
so it wasn't an issue for us...
Maggie is moseying in
from our Bedroom...
Bible Study Time...
She got hot...
Fur Kid Breakfast...
Oh please, please...
Time to build a fire...
it isn't real cold out
there this morning,
but we do love the fire!
Made us some
Nine Grain Cereal
with a Multi Grain Toast...
this stuff is filling!
Out to the Barnyard...
Yes, that is Ethel,
on the OUTSIDE of the fence...
she has slept in that tree
three nights in a row...
She is a certified IDIOT!!!

Had a large flock fly over...
not sure what they were.
Perhaps Crows.
I wish, if it were Crows,
that they would stop and visit...
Crows are great for
deterring Hawks...
Mags is getting a turn...
She is such a chicken liver...
whenever Lanny messes with the fire
she goes outside...
whenever we go in the kitchen to cook
she goes outside...
We cannot figure out what is up with that
unless at one of our Dinners
someone stepped on her or something...
She is neurotic sometimes:-)

my first rise is VERY good!!!
This is fresh milled flour too...
I used Emmer, Einkorn, Spelt and Kamut
and ground the berries...
This isn't Sourdough but
I figure we are still getting better stuff
with the grains even if I am
using yeast...
The Fireplace is doing it's job...
normally 83 would be hot,
but somehow the wood fire
heat at 83 is perfect!!!
Out the Kitchen Window...
We were still rather full
from that 9 Grain Hot Cereal Breakfast,
so we had Avocado for lunch...
Fur Kid Dinner Time...
And Sparkly Day...
Gave the Critters
the Sparkly Berries...
And she was still begging...
I took them out a Saltine...
I gave Rob half the loaf
before I took a picture of it...
it is lovely
and VERY YUMMY!!!
We had Baked Potatoes
and some Roasted Chicken Breast,
as well as my fresh baked
Whole Wheat Garlic Bread...
YUM!!
The Barnyard Critters are ready
for their evening...
all the chores are done
and we are getting ready as well...
Tonight we will watch another
"Christmas Carol"...

and June Lockhart is Belinda,
one of the children... Sweet!
