Good Morning Monday...
"Brrrrr" is an understatement!
I wish you could see that moon
as it really looked...
iPhone cameras are good,
but can never really capture
the beauty of God's art...
This is definitely
a morning for a big fire...
Took us a bit longer to
sit down this morning...
but they waited patiently...
Max was so thrilled
about a fire
that he didn't even
get in his Daddy's
arms for a cuddle!
Bible Study Time...
Breakfast for my Babies...

He is in his warm layers
because he has been outside
on the roof trying to warm up
the water lines going to Rob
and Molly's house...
no water...
Rob is heading for
Home Depot to get some
heat tape to keep
this from happening again!
Out to the Barnyard...

All 18 were in the corner waiting
for us to come out...
Safety, and warmth, in numbers :-)
Getting our ONE Duck egg...
so far they are the only
ones laying... and since there are
two ducks and only one egg
per day, we are assuming
that they are taking turns :-)
The fish are doing fine...

Made us some Waffles for Breakfast...

it's too cold to go out

These two follow the sun...
The Chickens just like the Goat House,
no matter what the weather is...
But today the two Ducks
were in there too!
More Fire Tending...
Sparkly Day...
Maggies Turn...
Still working on some cold weather issues...
We have Macerator Toilets in
our back bathroom and Rob and Molly's house...
one of the drain pipes had drooped and
froze overnight so his pipes backed up...
He and Lanny worked all day
wrapping the pipes with heat tape and fixing the
drainage angle for the macerator drain...
Lanny found a big snake skin
on the roof...
Great!!! maybe that is
why we haven't heard any rat and mouse
activity up there lately!!
Makes me nervous when my
little 55 year old boy is
playing in the rafters...
I think I have told him to
"be careful" about 20 times today :-)
They were head and neck cuddling
this afternoon in the sunshine...
Still playing
in the rafters...
But I think they have
just about got it taken care of...
Fur Kid Dinner...
And Our Dinner
was a Bean, Pork and Vegetable Soup...
All the critters areready for the evening...
we are getting into our
evening attire and
ready for Movie/Pack Time...
Tonight we will continue with
"Santa Clause 2"...
