last night...
Good Morning!
It's Friday...
Bible Study Time with the Pack...
Max came down for cuddles...
Fur Kid Breakfast...
this morning I had
to coax Max off his perch...
actually, I picked him up!
But once he started
he ate it fast!
Out to the Barnyard...
Always beautiful!
You know the drill...
They all agree
it is cold outside!
Time for a fire...
He sure does love
the fire!
Our Breakfast...
Duck Egg Omelette with Cheese,
Avocado, Whole Wheat Toast
and Orange Slices...
Lanny said his was prettier...
It WAS kinda pretty :-)
They were enjoying the sunshine..
playing the head butt game...
Fiona had the high ground.
Fur Kid Dinner...
For our Dinner
I did a Freezer Clean Out
of sorts...
a few mini Corn Dogs
and a couple regular ones,
some Sweet Potato Fries
and some of our
home grown Roasted Bell Peppers
that I froze in the summer...
The Pups were
very interested...
Of course the chickens
had taken over the Goat House...
So Baby was chillin on the Platform,
and Fiona was watching the gate
from the doorway...
Went out a little earlier than usual
and I raked out a LOT of
the old bedding and hay
and spread it in the Barnyard...
The Goats LOVE it when
I put down fresh Pine Flakes...
they think it is food!
But Goats think most
everything is food :-)
I spread the old spent
hay and straw all around
the run area...
soaks up a lot of the
mud and run off...
it is really building up the
soil up here...
this was a bare gravel parking lot
when we moved here...
Tomorrow I will rake
out the Chicken Coop...
that is a bigger job
but we get a LOT
of good soil amendments
from the Coop...
Chicken droppings and
spent bedding are
excellent for the garden
and the soil in the Barnyard...
I have Pine Flakes
for them as well...
The Barnyard is ready for the eveningand we are getting there...
tonight we are gonna watch
