Last evening while
we were getting ready
for our Pack Time
the Fur Kids were
getting some last minute
turns in front of the fire...
We let it die down
before we go to bed...

It's the Weekend!!!
Good Morning Saturday...
Checked on my Girls...
Baby is using Fiona as a pillow again...
And Max quickly
snuggled into his Daddy's arms...
...for Bible Study Time with the Pack...
I decided to do colored lights
on this little tree...
usually do clear white
but I like this better...
Hmmmmm...
yes, Murph is
doing his thing...
But 90% of the time
he does come around...
I just love our fireplace...
Made Breakfast...
Duck Eggs and Avocado...
Out to the Barnyard...
The chickens are
a bit more at ease this morning...
but we did see the hawk in the back...
not a thing we can do about flying predators...
He got hot...
Not sure if they are cold or
if they are nervous about
the hawk visitor...
the Goats aren't bothered at all...
of course, a hawk isn't a danger
to them...
The Goats can hardly get in to their
House for the chickens!
Out the Kitchen Window...
Lanny's kindling...
Fur Kid Dinner Time...
Even Murph was waiting!
I have been experimenting today...
I made some Sourdough Discard Waffles
and we ate a stack for our Brunch...
they were so good...
didn't document it...
For Supper I had some left over rolls from
this week, a couple wieners in the freezer
and a can of chili sauce...
so we had a kinda make shift
Open Faced Chili Cheese Dog...
it was good and it was filling...
what more can you ask from a meal?

Fiona is usually waiting
and watching the door about this
time of day...
she is ready to go in...
I gave the chickens some
frozen Soldier Fly Grubs...
I thawed them of course...
in the summer when I am
getting a LOT, I keep
some back for winter treats...

Evening Pile Patrol...
So, the Goats are in for the night...all the other Critter chores
are done...
Tonight we will watch
"Die Hard 4"...
"Live Free or Die Hard"...
it is one of my favorites of the group...
Justin Long is in it with
Bruce and he is
a pretty good young actor...
Anyway, we are easily entertained...
I think the main thing is that
we are together, on the couch
with all our Fur Kids...
Life is good!
