Quiet Time in Bible Study...
🌤️😎
“Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart. I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes
Forever, to the very end.”
Psalms 119:97, 103, 105, 111-112 NKJV
“A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.”
Proverbs 16:9 NKJV
““But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.””
Habakkuk 2:20 NKJV
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
James 1:17 NKJV
“So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him.”
2 Corinthians 5:6-9 nlt

Good Morning!
Well, this week has flown by...
it's Friday again!!
Max followed me out
to open the Bay Doors...
he likes to sit here
and look and listen...
he often brings us little gifts,
if you know what I mean!
Bible Study Time...
it is very quiet for the first
hour or so,
but then around 5:30 all the birds
start singing and the chickens wake up...
Bucky crows all night off and on,
but the hens try to sleep in 'til
at least 5:30 :-)
Sparkly Day...
Out to the Barnyard...
no rain!!
Still waiting for eggs :-)
Cucumber...
Teeny Roma Tomatoes:-)
A few Roses...
Twice as many Soldier Fly Grubs
this morning...
They LOVE it!!
These are the younger grubs still
in the compost eating and maturing...
they are black when they crawl up the
ramps in the BioPod and fall into the bin...
Boiling potatoes
for Potato Salad...
we are having a cook-out tomorrow :-)
Duck Eggs in the
Instant Pot for the Tater Salad...
I love keeping an eye
on the Critters while I
am busy in the kitchen...
I believe they think
I may have more Soldier Fly Grubs :-)
I love hard boiling
Duck Eggs...
they are SO big and tasty!
I sure can make a good mess...
I had a 10 cup dough all over this board...
I was too messy to take a picture of it...
It is in the warm oven
for first rise...
I am attempting to make around
30 Hot Dog Buns
(foot long) for our
Cook-Out tomorrow...
I am doing it today
so that if they don't come out
Lanny can run down and get buns tomorrow :-)
What a mess...
But the Tater Salad is done :-)
I love warm Tater Salad so I need
to cover it before I eat half of it :-)
They kinda follow me around
and lay close by...
Ready for second rise...
I think they are gonna be OK...
I am making 8 more so I will have
24 foot long buns...
Lanny will still go down and get
a pack or two of regular buns
just in case...
but with these huge Costco Weenies
and these buns I am thinking
one Dog is gonna be enough!!
I used to know a little
sign language...
I need to study again!
Making more buns....
Been in the kitchen all day...
Lanny ran down to get us a
Dominoes Extravaganza for supper...
The second batch
of buns are done...
My hand in the picture
to give you an idea of the size :-)
I finally sat down for a minute...
They got up close...
Heading out to the Barnyard...
Anna and Elsa :-)
Our egg haul for the day...
not a LOT for 16 birds but enough :-)
Last night we watched
"Collateral" in the Tom Cruise collection...
it was made in 2004 with
Jamie Foxx, Jada Pinkett Smith
and Mark Ruffalo...
not bad, but Cruise is a really bad guy in it...
not his usual role :-)...
Tonight it will be
"Days of Thunder"...
made in 1990 with
Cruise, Robert Duvall,
Randy Quaid, Michael Rooker,
Nicole Kidman and Cary Elwes..
more his usual cocky self :-)
