Good Morning...
It's the Weekend,
and it is pouring rain up here :-)
Maggie doesn't care much for the loud
claps of thunder...
Bible Study Time with the Pack...
The door is open and the
rain is loud on the tin roof...
we like it!
Think about this...
Out to the Barnyard...
WET!!!
We will still have our cookout...
we do have LOTS of seating out
in the Big Barn...
we also have comfortable seating for
twenty or so here in the house :-)
We snuck out when it was
only drizzling... the chickens
don't mind light rain :-)
And the Ducks LOVE it!!!
The Goats...
not so much :-)
Bulldozing the mud!
I gave them hay and grain
in their house...
Had a nice batch of
Soldier Fly Grubs in the bin...
they were very excited about that!!
We don't let Maggie go
back there when it is this wet...
she is just slightly offended by that! :-)

I took him to the Backyard...
Lanny is cleaning up the
seating area in the Big Barn...
He also did our patio,
just in case our group
spills out of the house :-)...
they usually do...
Plenty of tables and chairs!
Not sure what she thinks this is,
but she has been trying to make friends
for ten minutes :-)

We sure need to help
the pollinators
AND
ourselves...
lots of very helpful medicinals...
Hoping it will stop soon...
Rarely, the Goats don't want
the Berries...
today was that day...
So the Chickens got them ALL :-)
A break in the rain...
Grilling thirty, footlong franks from Costco...
( had to say that just right :-))
the same ones they use in the Food Court...
there is another line under the foil...
makes 'em puffy and juicy :-)
The Brookstone is on the
patio so I can watch the critters while I grill...
The chickens LOVE hanging out
in the Goat House...

Paula did the Baked Beans...

Paula made a Chocolate Cake...
Parking lot FULL
of Kid and GrandKid cars!!!
Chit Chatting before we ate...
we were missing Olivia, Sky and Isaac,
Kyrtis and Belle and Logan...
Sadie rang the Dinner Bell...
she used to always do that
for our Tuesday Night Dinners...
when she was little :-)
WAY too much food...
everyone took stuff home
so we don't have a fridge full of leftovers :-)
