I like to peek in to see

what these two are up to

after we put them in for the night...

The eat in peace...

no chickens trying

to eat everything :-)

And then they settle down.

Goats do not sleep as much as we do...

they rest off and on thru the day and night...

they spend more time resting AND ruminating. 

They are prey animals so they sleep 

light and wake at any sound...

no problem for them...

they're just made that way...

Good Morning...

It's the weekend!!!

Starting off rainy

in our neck of the woods...

Max is settling in...

...for Bible Study Time...

Lanny has to do his

blog post with one hand...

Mutual affection

between these two

Out to the Barnyard...

rain has let up,

but from the sound of 

the distant thunder, 

we are in for more...

Gave them hay,

Timothy Grass

and a bit of grain...

they will be in here most of the

day so they need plenty

of "entertainment"...

Their gate is open,

but they won't venture out

when it is raining...

...and it is raining pretty hard...

The ducks really enjoy it!

But look how much 

water collected and is standing

in just a few minutes!!!

Gauge says 1/2 inch already!

Cute!

Not sure how many of you

like to crochet...

Perfect day

for doing nothing...

This bunch is taking

full advantage...

I'm making some 

Moringa capsules...

It is a bit tedious,

but MUCH less expensive

and I know exactly what is in them...

Still snoozing.....

I shouldn't say they're

"doing nothing"

because they are obviously 

sleeping very efficiently:-)

visitor in one of the nest boxes...

Probably the most beautiful

rat snake we have found around here...

we don't mind them,

even if they get eggs now and then...

they certainly keep the

rodent population under control!

In for the evening...
