A Day in the Life / Tuesday October 6

Tuesday evenings we have our Family Dinner so most of my day is in preparation for that. However, Sadie is on Fall Break so I went down the hill to pick her up early this morning so she could spend the day with us... Papaw took her out in the MULE for a tour...she'd been out before but not this time of year. It is so beautiful!

I made more bread...of course. I am LOVING this artisan bread and experimenting with different ingredients. I will probably share those recipes on my Mimi's House Blog later.

We had a great dinner and gathering... we were missing all but two of the grandkids but we had all the big people: Lanny and me, Mom and Dad, Rob and Molly, James and Tasha, Paula, Danny, Sadie and Olivia.. Chili Petro's and fun!!

Robbie took Tasha and Olivia out in the MULE after dinner.

.................

I made another batch of Artisan Bread this morning to serve with our chili...

The goats went back home today...their job is done. In less than 7 days they cleared out the hillside below Rob and Molly's deck. We will probably rent more next spring to work on the kudzu down the hill.

The horses enjoyed the warm afternoon and sunshine.

Tasha enjoyed driving the MULE after dinner! The evening was perfect for a tour.

Olivia didn't drive but enjoyed the ride!

And then to end the day I had to rescue a little snake from Max the cat...he is constantly bringing critters in the house and common area.
