A Day in the Life / Monday October 5

Mondays are usually pretty busy for me preparing for our Tuesday Family Night...buying groceries and some food prep. But now we have Home Health coming in for Daddy and today he had a doctors appointment as well, so I've been extra busy. Actually, I love being busy :-)

I get up around 4:15, Lanny a little bit later, and then we ALL sit together on the couch for our Quiet Time...Bible reading and devotionals...

The fur kids ready for morning devotionals...the couch gets a bit crowded but we all love it!

The goats begging for breakfast...

The goats are still escaping and today one of the smaller kids was butted into the electric fence and gave us quite a scare. Paula was quick to cut the power and they got her untangled....she was pretty shook up and wobbly at first but seems to be just fine now.

The chickens love their sardines!

Paula took Shelly out for a tour of the property...she had never seen it all... It is SO beautiful up here...

Lanny checking the fence...I doubt it will do much good...goats are definitely escape artists!
Sure enough! I just had to go out and help Paula round up an escapee in the parking lot!

Putting the chickens to bed...they love shredded cheese so I rarely have trouble getting them into the coop.

Willy is always the last one to go in...he has to make sure his ladies are safe and sound...
