A Day in the Life / Friday, December 18

Quiet Time....

“And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for Him.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:27-28‬

Lanny's regular Bible Reading Buddy...

Took care of my morning chores...making beds, administering meds, letting out the chicks and ducks and feeding the fur kids...

Sometimes they ALL pose for me :-) Max is taking his medicine so good mixed in his food...usually a cat can tell when you spike the food :-)

I went right to work on fudge for the Family Christmas packages...since we cannot have our usual Christmas Carol time (first time in YEARS we won't have a gathering).
I will have to deliver some goodie bags to the Gang...

Chocolate...

...and Peanut Butter...

The pups were begging Mom for a piece of her fudge...she and I had to test it, of course!

Lanny and I went down to Tractor Supply for some Willow Balm Cream for Robbies sore back...it's the best for aches and pains, restless legs, cricks in the neck...and all natural!!

We also went by Aldi's for a few things...I cannot go to town without going to the store!

*****

I made some Chicken Noodle soup for Dad and Lanny and Mom...I was full of fudge from licking the spoons and bowls!!

The dogs love it when Daddy sits on the couch with them...

After lunch....well, you know what happens...Siesta Time!

Maggie is about over Max being sick...she doesn't like to share her corner with him...doesn't she look dejected?

I made Salmon Cakes, Stewed Potatoes, Greens and Crescent Rolls for supper...I LOVE Salmon Cakes and so do the rest of the gang!! We had sliced Peaches and tested the fudge a bit more :-)

Last night we watched "Jingle All the Way", Arnold Swarzenegger...I usually like his movies (Terminator especially), but this one isn't the best....but we watched it anyway in our Christmas repertoire...not sure what we will watch tonight...probably another Christmas Carol...I'll let you know...

So I am sitting here in my jammies with fur kids all around me waiting for Lanny to get out of the shower to start the movie...Popcorn and maybe Ice Cream Cones later from the Snack Bar :-)

Goodnight Y'all...
