As usual...Max loves morning devotionals...
Morning chores done...Dad, dogs, chicks, ducks...
and then...Sunrise...
It's Saturday and we are starting a new tradition...a Saturday morning date for breakfast at Hoskins Drug Store in Clinton!
Lanny is working on the bathroom...painting the vanity because it was so worn. We will buy and install a new sink and vanity in the spring but it looks good enough with a fresh coat of paint!
We had left over stewed potatoes and greens in an ad lib soup with ramen noodles...you can do most anything with ramen noodles!! It was really delicious...now we are ready for the usual noon Siesta! ...in front of the fire...
Today is Mom's 90th Birthday so we had Pork Loin, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Fried Cabbage and Homemade Yeast Rolls for supper...Some cake and songs, and a gift or two. Paula always gets Mom a bear...we need a separate room for all the bears, and we bought her a CD/Cassette player so she can play her music...

So I am clean, full, warm and ready for snuggle time on the couch with my two legged honey and my 4 legged sweeties and a movie...last night we watched 'Christmas Carol" made in 1938 I think, with Alistair Simm...it is really a favorite and still black and white! The one with Patrick Steward is a really close second... I think we will watch "It's a Wonderful Life" tonight...what can I say...it's a favorite too...I'm easy to please :-)
Goodnight Y'all...
It's a wonderful Life is my absolute favorite Christmas movie!
