Quiet Time...
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
Hebrews 4:16

I got Daddy sorted out...medicines and coffee. Then fed the fur kids. Max had his 5th dose of antibiotics and he seems good as new. I am SO glad. I hate when the "kids" are sick :-)
We aren't going to have our Christmas Family Night next Tuesday...too many quarantines. So I am going to make all my goodies this next week and just deliver it to my family...today I am making Banana Bread.
The Home Health will be coming today to do a chest X-Ray on Dad...It is such a blessing not to have to take him down to the office...they can do blood work, diagnostic tests, probably the vaccinations when available. We are so thankful for this service...
I sat down for a minute to wait for the Imaging people to come and this is what happened...I cannot sit down without company.
The tech had no trouble getting thru all the doors leading to Dad's room. What a relief. We have one very narrow door leading into the living room...he barely squeezed thru, but he made it!
Lots going on today...Lanny installed a Carbon Monoxide detector over the doorway leading to Mom and Dad's area...we are getting the propane fireplace serviced today and the gas fumes sometimes get bad enough to bother patients with COPD...we just want to be sure that all of us are safe.
All the dogs were very interested in the open fireplace, and Max was pretty serious about getting in...we had to shoo him up on his tree... he was not happy about it. See him sulking...
Oooo, so nice and warm...actually it gets TOO warm, real quick, but I sure love looking at a fire...we will open the door a crack if we need to :-)
So, we ate some left over Spaghetti and Beef Stroganoff for Lunch and settled down in front of the fire for a quick Siesta...
It's getting cold out there and the ducks and chickens seemed to be huddling...or maybe the chickens were huddling...the ducks were basking in the sun.
Since we ate a big lunch I just threw some frozen Aldi's Pizza's in the oven for supper ...they are really quite good.
Chicks and ducks are in for the night...
I am in my jammies waiting for Lanny to get his night clothes on and we will sit here in front of the fire and watch another Christmas movie...last night it was Christmas Carol with George C. Scott...
Goodnight Y'all...
We love Aldi's pizzas. Can't beat it for $2.19
