A Day in the Life / Tuesday, December 15...no Family Night :-(

Quiet Time...

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.”

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬

Our little helpers during Quiet Time...

Max was very uncomfortable this morning..spent most of the morning in and out of the litter box, and passed a bit of blood...but I called the vet and he said that was to be expected with a UTI...just be glad he is able to USE the litter box...

Murphy was trying to make him feel better...

Maggie and Mitzi were unconcerned...Maggie really needs to learn how to relax!!!

My little buddy is still hanging around...I am so intrigued by these little jewels...it is SO cold during the night and I read that they slow down their metabolism and their body temp can go down to 48 degrees...then when the morning warms up they just bounce right back and head to the feeder...

I wouldn't normally do this, but every time I go into the Ladies Room I have an audience...it used to be kids, now it is dogs (and often a cat too)...

We didn't have family night dinner this evening...with Rob and Molly in quarantine and just the general state of affairs around the country we just decided to stay safe and stay home...I made my MimiLada's and shared them with Danny and Rob and Molly....I take them a box and they eat in the privacy of their own home...social distancing, you know :-) We also had apple crisp and ice cream.

Danny brought Mom a card because we WERE going to celebrate her 90th Birthday (which is actually on the 19th) tonight during Family Night. So, Danny gave her a card and Lanny gave her a soft and cuddly throw....

It matches her room and I think the dogs like it...Skipper had to taste it :-)

Well, the chicks and ducks are in bed, we are full, warm, surrounded by our loved ones, in our jammies and ready for tonights movie... a favorite Christmas movie..."Lethal Weapon"...WHAT?! don't you consider Lethal Weapon and Die Hard Christmas movies? :-)

Goodnight Y'all....
