A Day in the Life / Wednesday, December 16

Quiet Time...

“For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:12-13‬

After taking care of Daddy and letting the chicks and ducks out I went right back to the kitchen...made some jello for dinner dessert and tried a new yeast roll recipe...make ahead and refrigerate til 2 hours before dinner...

Max is feeling so much better!!

Murphy is a doll baby...

Mitzi is being shy...

Maggie is looking sad...she wanted me to sit with her...

Book ends...

Nothing like a nice, quiet afternoon on the farm... :-)

I think they were singing the foul version of Jingle Bells...

****

Sadie isn't practicing her social distancing...she hates the smell of the markers :-) She is making her annual Christmas present drawings for everyone...

The birds are very active this afternoon...

Lanny is putting a light over our dessert and drink area...he still has to put the chain and "clicky thing" on it...it's like the one we had over on Arrowwood...

We had Beef Stroganoff and the Yeast Rolls for supper...the rolls turned out great. I think they just needed another minute or two baking to brown the bottom a bit more. But all in all, a good recipe. I will be doing it again!

Lanny headed back to church for Wednesday services...

Sadie and I watched Charlie Brown Christmas until her Mom came to get her and now I am going to put on my jammies and wait for Lanny to get back from church...I see another "Christmas Carol" in our future :-)

Goodnight Y'all...
