A Day in the Life / Sunday, January 17

Quiet Time....

“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:10‬

The Lord's Day...

Sunday mornings are always a little tighter because I am trying to get Dad taken care of, all the animals fed, Sunday Dinner preparations and myself ready for church...all before 7:45. The Ensemble has to be at the church by 8:15.

It was a pretty first light...and at least it wasn't freezing!
Ducks and Chickies ran out like a house-a-fire! :-)

I cooked the beans yesterday (there were 14 kinds of beans in that mix!) so this morning all I had to do was put the beans and my other ingredients together in the crock pot on low...it was ready for our Dinner at 1! I also had left over cornbread so it was quite good!!

After "Dinner" Lanny and I settled down for our Siesta...

He had to head back to church a little early...our pool covers' sump pump quit working. If we don't get the water off the top it just pushes it out of the pool...such a waste when summer comes to have to fill a pool up.

I just fed Mom and Dad a Meat Loaf Sandwich using the Quick Bread I made yesterday...it worked great! It sliced perfectly...I'll be doing that again for sure!

The chickens and ducks are in bed, I had potty patrol tonight since Lanny left early and now I am in my jammies finishing up this post. I'll watch a Star Trek episode or two and Lanny should be home by 7:30. We will probably start the next Terminator and have some popcorn... we might even stay up late (9:30 haha) and finish the whole movie :-)...who knows.

Goodnight Y'all and God bless!
