Quiet Time....

Nice and warm and cozy morning for Bible Study...

Morning chores all done...changed our sheets, took care of Daddy's morning meds, made his bed, straightened his room up a bit... fed the fur kids and headed out into the 20 degree COLD morning to let the fowl kids out!

We were going to go early to get the wood stove but Lanny's truck was misbehaving so we are going to wait until after lunch and Robbie will take his truck over with us to get it...

Making bread in the Bosch... and in the oven to rise...

Took out the ground beef for spaghetti sauce...

Ducks and chickens are practicing social distancing today...some days they avoid each other....

Murph was LOVIN' the fire today... 

...looked out and saw one of my hens in the duck house doing her nesting routine...

...and sure enough, she laid an egg later in the day... not in the duck house, she deposited it in her own nesting box in the coop :-)

Maggie, Murph and Mitzi take turns by the fire...

I fed Mom, Dad and Lanny some chicken noodle soup for lunch and then we headed for Lenoir City to get the stove...

It was pretty heavy but Rob and Lanny were up to the task...we got it home safe and sound...now Lanny will work on the rust and get it ready for me to try cooking something...I am really excited. And it is a beautiful antique...I'll share the history with you later. Jennifer is finding out how old it is from the original owners...it's a great story!

Made spaghetti sauce and we enjoyed our usual Spaghetti Monday. I made Paula a "doggy bag" because she was waiting for sawdust for the stalls...

Dandy was waiting patiently for his new stall dust :-)

I think these two missed each other while Max was in the "hospital"...even tho they act like they are fussing...

This guy obviously eats a LOT of rodents...or he is good at faking his barn cat status!

Dinner was great...we are full. Chores are done and Lanny is getting out of the shower...we didn't get thru the entire movie last night because it was late, so we will finish Mummy 2 and probably start number 3...

Probably some popped corn and ice cream in the future..
