Oh my! It's 20 degrees at 4:20...

It usually gets a little colder just before the sun comes up...we shall see...

It's cozy in here tho...once that fire comes on it gets toasty!

Morning inside chores all done...Dad, meds, beds, dogs, cat :-)

Yep, what did I tell you...now it's 18!

Chicks and Ducks DO NOT CARE about the temperature!

I don't care much for it...

AND.... look what I got...again! Three eggs from my duckies...we are on a roll!

We headed down the hill at 7:45 for our Saturday morning date...

...we don't even tell them what we want...they start cooking it when we drive up. I LOVE that about small towns...they know what we want and every other regular customer in the place...

This is pretty cool...they have a clock in the drug store than runs backwards...they said they don't know why and no one ever noticed it before...but I did!

One of the waitresses said it must have been struck by lightening :-)

I made tomato soup for lunch and then Lanny and I snuggled in for a short winters nap...

He went out to work a bit on the roof and also to cut up a tree limb that fell on the driveway..

I sat down to dream about gardens and homesteading and my little fur magnets swooped in...they do NOT believe in personal space :-)

We are going to have hamburgers after church tomorrow so I went out to cook them on the griddle...I LOVE my griddle!!

We had breakfast for supper...washed up a dozen gorgeous duck eggs...

Made Biscuits and Gravy, some Sausage, warmed up the left over Chicken Fried Steak, thawed out some homemade Cinnamon Rolls and scrambled those Duck Eggs...YUM!!!

Shelly joined us for dinner...

Lanny took care of Puppy Landmines and I put the Chicks and Ducks to bed...

I am clean and in my jammies and Lanny is in the shower... we watched Contact last night with Jodi Foster...not sure what is on the movie menu for tonight but I will let you know...I'm sure we will have popcorn and lots of fur company on the couch...as you know, my second favorite time of the day :-)
