Quiet Time....

Max was at the vets overnight so he didn't get to snuggle during Bible Study...

but he should be home this afternoon!

Normal morning...all the inside chores...

I was hoping to do my outside chores in the snow!!! I should know never to trust those East Tennessee Weather Men!

Only rain!

But I did get a BIG treat this morning...THREE duck eggs...

first time! I was pretty sure I had three females but needed this confirmation...

Lanny had to go in to work this morning at the church, but not before we had a leak in Mom's bedroom ceiling...we are going to have to do some waterproofing to this flat top roof...we are inside a barn but if the barns tin roof leaks and finds an open seam in the tar paper on our house roof there will be trouble...Lanny is going to add new tar paper and seal the roof a little at a time just to keep this from happening in the future...we know that the big barn roof can and probably will leak...

He got home in time for left over Sloppy Joes for lunch and a short snooze with the fur kids... He brought Max home with him but Max decided he wanted to look out the window from his cat tree, so he didn't cuddle with us...

The chickens heard me in the kitchen so they were hovering around the gate...

I sat down for a minute and Murphy and Maggie were competing for the space by me in this little chair...spoiled brats...

I made Country Fried Steak and Gravy, Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Butternut Squash for dinner... YUM!!!

Potty Patrol is done, chicks and ducks are in bed...

Lanny is just getting out of the shower and I am ready for popcorn and a movie...Twister was last night so we might start our end of the world movies tonight...2012, or Deep Impact, Armageddon, you know, THOSE movies...

I'll let you know tomorrow...
