Usual Morning....
Beautiful!
Rob and Austin were up and at it pretty early...
Lanny and I went down to the NatureScapes Nursery this morning...they sell only native trees, flowers, shrubs...I want to plant things that love it here and attract birds and butterflies...we found lots of beautiful prospects...now we just have to prepare some spots and then go back and brings them home...
Then we stopped at Kuntry's Produce just to see what she has...we brought home some giant tomatoes and perfect pears and Amish Butter... I'll be stopping in more often...
We ate tomato sandwiches for lunch with the giant tomatoes we bought and my homemade sourdough...I cannot wait until they are MY tomatoes!!
Lanny and I picked Sadie up at 1:30 at the bus stop and headed for Costco and Gordon's Food Service...Al is on vacation this week so we wouldn't have seen him even if we had waited until tomorrow :-)
We brought pizza home from Costco...Costco sells more pizza than any other national or local pizza joints in the country...amazing...but, their pizza IS delicious!! and the price is great! Less than $10 for a giant pizza. You just cannot beat it!
Shelby came for Sadie after she took photos of all the dogs, ducks, chickens and horses :-)...
Lanny headed down to MidWeek services at church...I put the chickens and ducks to bed and filled up all the water containers...only 3 duck eggs today...the chickens are resting after 3 yesterday!
I am in my jammies and will watch some Star Trek until Lanny gets home...it will be too late to start a movie but sometimes we watch a nature documentary before we fall asleep....
