Forgot to mention that we planted one a Purple Mars Grape vine along the driveway fence... we will add a green grape soon...

The normal, quiet, early morning study time...

As soon as he was finished with his morning study time, Lanny went down to the mailbox in the MULE...any excuse to drive that thing :-) but I received an email that a package was delivered yesterday so he really did have an excuse :-)

Did my morning chores inside and did the Wednesday meds as well, BEFORE I went out to do the chickies...it is still dark!

Those lazy birds finally got up :-) so I went to let them out for the day...

My three duck eggs first thing in the morning...ducks lay at night and chickens lay during the first half of the day...usually...

Sadie really enjoys herself up here...no limits - she can go out with the horses, the chicks and ducks, roam all over the place, sit in the big barn and do crafts...it's right up her alley!

Lanny jokingly told her to go grab him a 2 x 10 around front... well, she showed HIM!

I hung up my chicken art that Lanny got me at Cracker Barrel...

 

Willie and Ebony were carrying on again in the coop...turns out there was an egg in there but it belonged to Bossy (it was white)...I guess chickens are color blind or she was just trying to fool Willie :-)

...the work continues...

The repair man finally came with the parts for my stove... we shall see. It works great when you get the temperature right...what shows on the panel and what's in the stove are not the same... not sure he fixed it so I will just continue to rely on the thermometer I put inside the oven...

Sadie was picked up by Shelby around 2...they have plans for the evening...

Made Left Over Pork Loin, Yams, Fried Cabbage, Left Over Buttered Noodles, Crescent Rolls and Pears and Cottage Cheese for dessert...not too bad for an ad lib...

Lanny took care of the Potty Patrol, I put the fowl to bed (before the rain came)....

I am sitting here in my jammies finishing this entry...

Waiting for Lanny to shower and pick us a movie.

Last night we watched Monster's Inc. (Sadie's pick).
