Quiet Time....
“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”
James 1:12
*****
Mitzi rarely sits in a lap, but last night she sat in her Daddy's lap for a few minutes before she left for her futon...
We had our usual morning Quiet Time...dogs and cats join us off and on, take turns sitting on the bench in front of the fire and running outside to bark at imaginary intruders... :-)
Took care of the inside chores and headed out to let the chicks and ducks out... as soon as it got light enough...
Paula started cutting the big plastic barrels so we can use them for planters...Lanny finished them for her...he is such a gentleman...
I headed down to Aldi's for some supplies and to pick up Sadie...she is on break this week...
I checked on the dogs with the pet cam while I waited for Sadie...all four of our fur kids were in the bedroom...Mitzi on the futon and the other three in the bed...
On the corner of Laurel there is a donkey and a horse that we see every day we come by...well, the horse LOVES to play possum. He looks dead and I have come by to find cars and trucks stopped to look because they think he is dead... usually he raises his head as if to say "fooled you"...well today I got a quick pic of him before he got up...
Sadie loves Murphy....she loves them all but Murph is just a special little man...
they all love her too...
Sure enough, Coppertina did indeed lay an egg and probably Ebony as well...we don't think that Raven lays eggs... never get three brown eggs in one day...
Max is getting very comfortable back in Mom and Dad's area...
Murph and Maggie watching their Daddy work on the pond...
Papaw picked up some big rocks at the big pond to put around the pool...
We had Chicken Patty's, Popcorn Shrimp, Onion Rings, Green Beans and Carrots and Strawberry Jello and Peaches with Marshmallows for dinner...
Sadie went right out to talk to the horses and Luke the Barn Cat and hang out with Paula and Shelly for awhile...
Lanny is in the shower, I am in my Jammies...outside evening chores are all done and we will find out what movie Sadie wants to watch when she comes in and puts on her night clothes (she is spending the night)...
So, Goodnight Y'all...Sweet Dreams...
God bless America...
Have fun sweet Sadie♥️ enjoy your time on Walden's mountain! Grandma Loves you
