A Day in the Life / Sunday the Fourth of July

Quiet Time....

“For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13

Maggie and Murphy joined us...
Max and Mitzi stayed in the bed :-)

Dad came in around 6...
took his coffee and donut back to his desk...

Lovely morning... just a little chilly...

Gathering around the BioPod...they ALL love the grubs!

Two duck eggs... and later in the day a nice brown chicken egg in a nest box from one of the Black Maran's...

A lovely Mimosa... it isn't in the backyard proper but in the woods on the hill outside the fence .... they are so messy but beautiful when they are wild... (and not IN your yard :-) )

Rob and Molly moved their furniture around a bit and it is SO nice in their open room.
Sun in the morning and cool in the afternoon...perfect!!

Headed for church at 8 for Ensemble practice...

A Crepe Myrtle in the flower bed outside the church...
Gorgeous!

The Ensemble... minus me since I am taking the photo :-)

The pastor is on vacation and the Youth Minister Patrick lead the service today.
He is a wonderful preacher!

We had Hamburgers and Chips for our Sunday Fourth of July Dinner...
Yum!

Lanny and I rested for about 30 minutes...
He couldn't stand it. He HAD to get out and mow something!
He missed his machines last week at camp :-)

I roamed the yard looking for eggs and checking on the bluebird babies...

Max has found another sitting area...on Paula's porch.
I am sure her dogs LOVE that!

Mom and Molly shooting the breeze...

I'm heading out to take care of the chickens and ducks.
I'll pick up the yard and fill their water bowls and ponds.

Last night we watched The Tomorrow War and it was pretty good.
Not sure what we will watch tonight...

But I am sure that popcorn is in our future...

Goodnight Y'all...
Sweet Dreams...

God bless America!
