Mitzi joined us this morning...
Very relaxed...
Had a nice Quiet Time...
Made beds and fed the fur kids and then headed out...
it was dark and cloudy even after the official sun rise....
Three duck eggs today and two chicken eggs later...
A half inch last night...sounded like more!
Rolled some oat groats for oatmeal...
I soak/ferment it so it's more nutritious...
Sorted meal worm pupa from larva and picked out the mature beetles for the honeymoon suite...mating and laying eggs :-)
Made us all some Ramen and Tomato Sandwiches for lunch...
We sat down with our feet up for a few minutes...
I had too much to do today to stay long...
but I had clothes in the dryer!
I made a small batch of Kim Chi with a new recipe... not sure if I'll like it so I did a small one...I love my old recipe but I am always open to new things...
Max was checking out Dad's bed WITH Dad in it...
he ended up snuggling there at his feet for a LONG time!
Also made some Corn Relish with a new recipe...
using whey instead of just a salt brine...
We had Chicken Breasts, Greens and Mac and Cheese for Dinner.
Homemade Cottage Cheese and Pears and Cantaloupe....
Lanny picked up the puppy piles, I put the chicks and ducks to bed, backwashed the pool and put some chlorine tabs in...the rain tends to mess up the balance.
Lanny is in the shower and I am finishing up this post.
The Chosen is still on our venue. If you haven't seen it you definitely should!!
