Quiet Time...

Quiet Time listening to the rain and trains in the distance...

I love early mornings!!

Study Buddies...

I didn't take any pictures outside this morning...it was raining too hard and I don't take my phone/camera out...

No pretty sunrise or cloud formations...just dark rain cloud coverage.

Beautiful in it's own way tho...I like rain when it's steady and not stormy!!

Had two duck eggs...

I made Dad, Lanny and Mom (and me) some of the soaked/fermented oatmeal.

They all loved it and I feel good that they had a very healthy breakfast :-)

Dad sat out for a few minutes this morning...it was nice and cool.

But the humidity bothered him...he didn't stay too long.

Lanny worked in his shop all day...

on fishing tackle and sorting stuff...

I really like these kind of days.

I did some sorting inside too...

We had tomato sandwiches for lunch...again...but no one is complaining!

After lunch Lanny and I (and the fur kids) rested for a full hour

before getting back into it...

All the chickens were in the coop this afternoon out of the rain so I went ahead and closed them in. I won't have to chase them around later...

Had to wear my handy, dandy farmers rain coat...it is EXCELLENT!!!

Had two chicken eggs later in the day...

I'm prepping for Family Night...gonna celebrate Robbie's and my birthdays...

however, James and Tasha can't come (they aren't feeling well) and my friends Johnny and Janie were going to join us but they too are under the weather.

Bob may get to come and Shelly, but we will have a lite crowd...
