Quiet Time...

Bible Study Buddy...even if only for a few minutes before he headed back to Mom and Dads area...

Dad came in about 5 for his coffee and donut...

we had our usual 90 plus minutes of Quiet Time...

I finished up around 6 and then made our bed and Dad's...he stayed up for a little while and before he went back to bed until time to go to Fort Sanders...evaluation for a motorized wheel chair!! 

I fed the fur kids... then headed out around 6:40 to take care of the chicks and ducks!

Took care of their meds for the week...

Fed the horses a couple carrots...

Cleaned and filled our three Hummingbird Feeders...these critters go thru a LOT of sugar water!!

At 9:30 we loaded up Mom and Dad and headed to Fort Sanders Patricia Neal Center to see if Dad qualifies for a motorized chair...

It was a very good visit and we are 99% sure he will get it. It will be around 6 weeks at least before we know, but the specialists there were pretty confident...they let him test drive one. I wanted to take a video but you know the HIPA rules forbid that...

anyway he was a very quick learner and I think it will be great that he gets one.

We were able to take a picture as we were waiting for the valet to bring our car back...Dad AND Lanny were tired :-)

We went to Shoneys for lunch...Dad was hungry and up for it...

we were SO hungry that I didn't take any pictures there either...

not many pictures of anything today!

We were going to take a short cat nap when we got home but Lanny gat a call from the church that they needed him so he left, and I just piddled around the house. Too hot outside and since I won't be cooking a big meal tonight, I had not cooking to do. I went out and talked to the chickens and picked some tomatoes...LOTS of cherry tomatoes from just two bushes!

Lanny is home and in the shower...

I fed the three of them Chicken Noodle Soup for a light dinner (I was still full from lunch)...

Put the chicks and ducks to bed and clean water for tomorrow.

We are ready to settle down for the night...maybe a few more Chosen episodes and popcorn...
