A Day in the Life / Wednesday, August 25

Quiet Time...

“Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:16

*****

Up early for his coffee and donut and then straight back to bed...

All but Max joined us this morning...I think he went straight back to Mom's bed :-)

Doggie and Kitty pileup for Breakfast...
at 6 am they are chomping at the bit!

Two duck eggs and later two chicken eggs...

Made more whole wheat artisan bread as well as some white sandwich...

I made a loaf of whole wheat using the last batch of dough...
rising for a bit...

I am also sprouting and drying other grains so that I can make some Ezekiel bread...
it'll be the first time I try to make it... we shall see...

AND.... nearly every day my two cherry tomato plants load me down...
we eat them like crazy but just cannot keep up!

Also made some laundry detergent...
Paula uses it also, so I make a gallon about every three months.
It is very concentrated and very cheap.
I haven't bought detergent in many years so imagine the money I have saved!

Fed Mom and Dad some Tuna Salad Sandwiches for lunch and then headed down the hill to pick up Sadie from he Bus Stop at 1...

The white bread dough rose nearly to the top! Gorgeous!

I baked the whole wheat and it is perfect!

One of the pond plants is in bloom...
Looks a bit like my Grandma's Zephyr Lily...
only it's a water plant and white :-)

The Obedient Plant had a sweet little visitor...

Made Fish Sticks, Potatoes from our Garden, some Beets from a friends Garden,
Corn and Greens...

Yum!

Shelby came to get Sadie a bit early and I am heading out to put the chicks and ducks to bed...

Not sure what our movie will be tonight.
I'll let you know.

Goodnight Y'all!
God Bless Us, Every One!
