Wednesday in the Woods, November 17

Quiet Time...

“There is no one holy like the Lord, Indeed, there is no one besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭2:2‬

*****
Another night without a call :-)
Five hours of restful sleep isn't bad...

Not real cold out there this morning...
Took Dad his coffee and donut, got him situated and headed for the couch...

The Lewis Pack in Bible Study...

Two burritos and an open face :-)
Maggie and Murphy are wrapped in the blankets...

And Max on his tree in the window...

Fed the fur kids at 6 and headed out to to take care of the chickens and ducks...
Look at that sky!

Oh look! Another duck egg IN the duck house!!

The Eastern sky from the big bay doors...

Took some carrots out to the boys...

The pups wishing it was nap time...with US!
They love it when we ALL sit together...

But no go! It is physical therapy time for Dad...the therapist put him thru the paces. But he is getting stronger and able to walk a little further every day.

Fed them grilled cheese for lunch...Lanny had a doctors appointment but I made him one when he got home a little later. Dad is walking to the table with his walker now. Yesterday was the first day I didn't bring him in the wheel chair...he walked in. He gets pretty winded but it's good for him to walk...

A snapshot on the monitor in Dad's room...he shared his afternoon nap space with Max.
Notice the black bundle on the right side at the foot of Dad's bed.

Walked a bit around the compound...Paula is making some closet doors...

Sadie is working on her art and diy ideas...as usual.
She is so talented.

Frying up some Salmon Patties for supper.

We had Salmon, (Fish Sticks for Sadie), Macaroni and Tomatoes, Yams, Green Beans and New Potatoes, Cornbread and Lemon Cake...

After supper Sadie and I went out to spoil the horses with some evening carrots :-)

Lanny picked up the puppy piles and I cleaned up the kitchen.
The chicks and ducks are in bed, we are in our Jammies and ready to settle down for a movie.
There are a dozen things I have to do for Dad's evening ablutions that I won't go into :-)
But once he is settled in we do the same.

So tonight is Sherlock Holmes. A favorite!!

Goodnight Y'all...
Sure do love you ALL and thank you for your continued prayers.

God bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
