Tuesday on the Farm... February 22

Dad was up, so you know the drill...

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit for first breakfast...

Keeping her Daddy's spot warm...

Until he gets here :-)

She does NOT like thunder so she was sticking close this morning...

We had a nice morning Quiet Time...

At 6 I made our bed, fed the fur kids, decanted the kefir's, 

emptied the dishwasher, started some laundry...

sounds like a broken record, doesn't it? :-)

Headed out at daybreak...

I am getting a duck egg every day, pretty consistently, 

and about 5 eggs a week from Coconut. 

I am going to be on the lookout for another three or four hens...

This was SO beautiful this morning...

the frogs were in full force. 

Spring is in the air!!

Looking out my kitchen window...

I love this view...

Soon I will be seeing a few more feathered babies AND some goats!!

We are going to get a couple of Nigerian Dward Goats!!!

Lanny is fine tuning the gutter as it rains.

It's the only way to know how it's working :-)

I made Lanny and Dad some waffles for second breakfast...

Dad's Physical Therapy for today...

He is doing well...

Max keeping an eye on everything!

We had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for lunch..

Paula came over and ate one as well...

Then we napped for a bit...

I don't sleep deep... just day dreaming.

But it's SO relaxing...

Mitzi kept my lap warm today :-)

It is SO good to have neighbors like this.

He pulled up the fence posts for us with his handy, dandy tractor.

My Coconut egg... I cannot wait to get some other colors.

Picked up Sadie at 3 from the bus stop...

Lanny picked up some pizza for us for dinner...

Celebrating Mom and Dad's 70th Anniversary...

Then we had Ice Cream Sundae's for Dessert :-)

After supper I put the chicks and ducks to bed IN the rain...

Sadie is working on her "book" :-)

Shelby will pick her up at 8:30

She is going to have to watch Thor with us :-)

Remember Mom in your prayers... she will see the Radiologist tomorrow 

to plan out a treatment.
