Valentines' Day on the Farm... February 14

Quiet Time...

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4‬

*****

Dad wasn't up so I got his morning necessities ready :-)
and headed for the couch...

He got up about 4:15 so I didn't sit long...
I made him a Sausage Biscuit and resumed my Quiet Time...
Max was looking out the window from his "tree"...

I didn't spend much time sitting...
He and Mom were both having issues this morning...
stories are too long for this venue :-)
Anyway, my morning was a bit crazy... But I did get the blog published and managed to send out my verses much later in the morning...

Maggie and Murphy are the two bundles next to me...

Made the bed, fed the fur kids, decanted the milk and water kefir...
took care of some kitchen chores...
then headed outside (with the pups) at daybreak...
COLD!!

Waiting for us...

Omelette and Toast for second breakfast...

Dad's Physical Therapist came around 10...
he is cleared for another 4 weeks of therapy.
It's really doing him a LOT of good!!
Brenna is a great therapist!

Lanny working on bills....
he actually enjoys this stuff!!

For lunch we had Turkey Sandwiches and Chips...

Maggie is trying to sneak the bone off the couch...

Lanny and I took a little Siesta after lunch...
the fur kids joined us.
Mom and Dad laid down as well so the house was quiet...

Dad was looking out with his binoculars.
Sometimes you can see deer and turkey up on the hillside...
It's SO beautiful up here!!

For supper we had left over Sloppy Joes... I toasted the buns and then put the sauce on each one with a sprinkle of cheese and baked for a few minutes... Served with slaw and chips and YUM!!

The puppy piles are picked up, the chicks and ducks are in bed.
The pups had a romp in the back lot, so they are happy.
We are ready to get our jammies on and watch the next movie in the Marvel Series...
We watched Captain America: The First Avenger last night.
Tonight will be Captain Marvel.
There are over 20 movies in the Marvel series so it will take us several weeks to watch them all...

Mom does still have a UTI. The antibiotic had to be ordered (we can pick it up tomorrow) and they are sending the sample away to culture to see what resistant bacteria is involved. I am hoping that is what is making her feel bad and so confused and disoriented...

There are several appointments upcoming... still trying to figure out what can and should be done, so continue praying for her and for us.

Goodnight Y'all...
God bless you, each and every one!!

Sweet Dreams!
