Thought I would share the temperature last night
when we sat down to watch our movie!!
Man, it's HOT!!! 102!!!

Dad was up and waiting...
...and it was already 77!
Took him his morning goodies and a Breakfast Croissant...
then settled down with my pack!!
Lanny came in about 4:30...
Finished up a bit early, about 5:40, because I had to run down to pick up Sadie
and didn't want to get too far behind... Max was in his usual spot...
I scooped him up and cuddled him a bit...
...and took him to his Daddy...
Made the bed and actually decanted the water kefir
so I would have some cool berries for the chicks and ducks,
and headed out...
Ducks stayed in the coop last night...
Gabby's egg...
Watered the potted plants all around the yard,
and then headed down the hill to pick up our girl!
Lanny put the pond back together...
One of the turtles was heading for the water bowl...
The chickens are in the boxes early...
good thing. It is just TOO hot a bit later in the day.
No wonder the egg production is down...
I did get a Willow and a Pearl White...
And a Goldie...
Lanny found a brown one out by the fence later...
she must have laid it in the last few days,
and I got another white one after lunch...
left over chicken between cheese :-)
Then we rested for one hour... it is too hot to work outside!
Soldier flies galore!!
Maggie and I TRYING to sit out in the shade... still VERY HOT!!!
We had hot dogs for supper... buffet style...
Mom ate in her suite...
Robbie brought his friend Brian over for a dog!
Lanny put a couple small fans in the coop for the chickies and ducks...
it is so hot and at least this will move some air around...
we had them in the coop down on Arrowwood and they really helped.
So, all the evening chores are done.
Sadie just left with her Momma and Lanny is showered and in his Jammies.
Tonight we will watch Medicine Man with Sean Connery.
