Friday on the Farm... July 22

Quiet Time...

Daddy was up and waiting...

Made him a Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit for his 4 AM breakfast :-)

I shared the couch with Maggie and Murphy until Lanny got up at 5:30...

I made the bed, fed the fur kids, 

put in a load of wash and headed out to the birds...

the humidity is really high this morning... UGH!

Gabby was just finishing up her shift :-)

Two duck eggs this morning.l..

Opal didn't come right out with the rest of the flock...

I suppose she is missing her sister...

but later in the day she was mingling a bit. 

She is just an outcast and has been from day one...

the other hens scare her and she is very timid...

Cut up the left over mushrooms from the canning I did yesterday 

and put them in the dryer...

Made Daddy and Lanny some fried Eggs, Sausage Links 

and Toast for Second Breakfast :-)

Paula likes her Mimi Bread sliced so I made her a loaf...

Robbie likes to slice his own... I think he slices it THICK like Texas toast :-)

For lunch I opened a jar of the ham I canned a few weeks ago, shredded it a bit and added some barbecue sauce and made BBQ Sandwiches... Not too bad!!

Then we rested for about an hour. 

Lanny had been mowing and I was pulling weeds 

and some other yard work, so we were ready to rest...

Popcorn, Sugar, Coconut, Willow and Goldie...

I still had a couple yellow squash and zucchini 

so I sliced them thin, put some spices on them and stuck them in the dryer... 

For supper I opened a jar of the spaghetti sauce, a jar of the ground beef and a jar of the meatballs, made some pasta and we had Spaghetti. It was yummy and easy and I will be making more of all three for quick and easy meals!!!

All the evening chores are done, we are in our jammies 

and will watch number 10 in the Marvel Series tonight... 

Guardians of the Galaxy!. 

It's a really fun one!!
