Quiet Time...

Dad didn't get up until 5:30
so I sat for my 90 minutes before I fixed his First Breakfast
and gave him his meds and coffee...
Max joined us this morning...
Yesterday I cut and seasoned some Zucchini and Yellow Squash
and put them in the dehydrator...
they turned out YUMMY!!! Crispy like a chip and just a tad spicy...
Made the bed and fed the fur kids and then headed out to the fowl...
The fish were hungry too :-)
Threw some goodies over the fence...
Decanted the Kefir and also gave the berries to those little pigs with feathers!!
Still waiting around the gate for MORE!!
Lanny knew I would be in the middle of canning beans at 8
so he ate some cereal...
Max LOVES it when he does because he is a maniac for milk...
we don't let him have much...
Still waiting...
Paula came over and we broke the rest of the beans.
She and Shelly broke half of them last night...
Mom broke one... :-)
I made grilled cheese for lunch...
forgot to take a picture...
So, the end result...
14 Quarts and 7 Pints of green beans to add to the larder.
We will definitely have enough green beans this year...
Rested for a bit...
Lanny mowed the back yard before lunch
which was very thick and very high after all this rain...
it was a CHORE!!!
So we were both ready for a Siesta!!
Mitzi chews on that bone for a few minutes and then she snoozes too...
Gabby and Penny, one of the Pearl Whites, Goldie and Coconut...
Fed the fur babies their lunch...
For supper I opened a jar of the Beef Stroganoff I canned last week and made some Egg Noodles... Excellent!!
Lanny and I ran down to get the mail and I just had to take some pictures of the Puppies in the sky...
they look like dogs/pups to me... believe me, I am not in the market for puppies or more dogs, but that's just what I see :-)
Went out to put the chicken feeders up and got two more gifts...
Willow and the other Pearl White...
that makes 7 today!!
Evening chores are done, I am in my jammies
and Lanny will shower and get into his...
tonight is Guardians of the Galaxy 2... so fun!!
