Daddy was up!

Had to leave for the Surgery Center at 6 so I hurried thru my morning stuff...

got breakfast and lunch stuff out and ready for Paula...

and fed the pups early AND let the chickens and ducks out early...

VERY early...

Then Lanny and I headed down the hill...

Everything went very well... some polyps which Dr. Silver burned off. 

My warranty is extended another 3 years and he promised 

that he wouldn't call me every three months to remind me (haha).

Afterwards we went to First Watch by Costco.

Never been there before and it was FABULOUS!

And not just because I was hungry :-)

One of my Daughters-in-Law work there 

but she wasn't working this morning :-(

Had a wonderful breakfast!!

Then headed home...

Saw my favorite donkeys...

until we get our own!

Also saw my favorite huge Oreo bull and camels 

but didn't get a picture...

there were cars behind us...

I love seeing our driveway!!!

Sugar egg...

And a Penny egg by the water dishes...

Go figure!

Lanny and I were full but I fed Mom a tuna sandwich ...

...and Dad some tuna, cheese, Vienna sausages and crackers...

Then Lanny and I took a snooze...

Mom and Dad always snooze after lunch 

so it is the perfect time for us to...

And I keep one eye on the monitor 

and one ear open to any strange noises back there :-)

For supper I made Fish Sticks, Fries, Spinach and Macaroni and Tomatoes...

Pudding and Graham Crackers for Dessert...

Chores are done, kitchen is clean, I am MORE than ready to settle down 

with a bowl of popcorn and maybe even those Necco's that I see on Lanny's desk 

(he knows I love Necco's... 

you know they actually discontinued making them for awhile... insanity!!)

Not sure what will be on the big screen tonight.

He always picks good ones so whatever it is will be wonderful...

as long as my pack is on the couch with me :-)

Thursday on the Farm... September 29

Quiet Time...

Daddy was up :-)

My Pack!!

Except for these two...

I let them enjoy it until breakfast time...

Fed the fur kids and headed out back...

Penny egg...

Made the men some French Toast Sticks and Sausage...

Mom just ate a Stick...

With the usual audience...

Lanny is loading the garden spot down with manure and wood chips 

and I just KNOW it's gonna be a great garden next year!!

The chickens are doing their part...

scratching and pecking and moving it all around...

PLUS getting a bunch of worm and roly poly treats!!

Sugar laid an egg...

Sparkley decanted, and berries for the birds...

Lanny digging the sweet potatoes...

We got a few but the biggest and prettiest ones 

were half eaten by something...

probably grubs :-(

Willow is getting her feathers back!

Coppertina is helping dig the taters...

Made grilled cheese for lunch...

I am prepping for that colonoscopy so I could only gaze and drool...

I LOVE grilled cheese...

Nap time...

Then more manure and mulch...

He is planting some perennial plants that I had in pots into the ground.

They will do much better in the ground...

The dogs were supervising...

I warmed up the Chicken and Egg Noodles 

and the Pizza Casserole Leftovers 

with a Roll and Applesauce for their supper...

I drank Chicken Broth...

Actually, after drinking all the saline solution and all the liquids they insist upon you really aren't that hungry! But I will sure be glad to eat tomorrow :-)

Lanny picking up puppy landmines AND puppy toys out in the yard :-)

I am showered and in my jammies.

Lanny went down to get me a real fountain Coke for my treat...

I can drink a coke... :-)

Not sure what we will watch tonight...

I'll let you know tomorrow...
