Mom slept thru the night
and buzzed me at 3:40 again...
my own personal alarm clock :-)
Dad slept til about 5:30...
Made him a couple Sausage Biscuits
to go with his coffee when he got up...
Everything is growing well and as expected!
Another day in Black Out...
Speed ripening bananas in paper bags for banana bread...
you can't hardly find overripe banana's in the stores :-)_

Out to the barnyard critters!

Prepping jars for canning...
At 8 Dad was up and when I went
to see if he wanted breakfast he was getting back into the bed.
He said he didn't think he wanted breakfast.
So I continued getting everything ready to can...
making a big mess as usual...
and at 8:09 he was back up wanting breakfast...
Oh well....
I fixed him an egg sandwich
and took it into his room and got back to canning!

Trying a new Cinnamon Raisin Bread Recipe...
We had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for lunch...
Cleaned the Rabbit Hutches...
Violet sunning IN her litter box.
She uses it for what it is for as well as a bed :-)
Thumper also uses his litter box...
But not Blossom...
She pushes it away from the side and goes behind it!!
Oh well...
They are clean!
I have a hard time getting in to check egg boxes
because the floor is always covered with lounging hens!
Goat house is coming along...
I help hold stuff up or level while he drills...
I am a pretty good hand!
All four ducks in the pond...
they are starting to spend a lot more time together.
Laying on her side with her leg up...
...they look dead when they do this...
always startles me for a second!
Finally snuck in...
Five... makes 7 total so far...
The bread is denser than I like
so I will tweak the recipe next time...
but it is pretty tasty!
Frying up some cabbage for tonights dinner...
After supper Dad and Lanny sat by the pond...
it has been a GORGEOUS day (after the rain this morning)...
Chores are done...
Kitchen is Clean...
We actually watched Star Trek Generations last night...
the one where Kirk is killed
(he and Picard team up to save the world ) :-)
So tonight we will watch First Contact...
