Mom buzzed a couple times... I am beginning to lose
track of the time :-) I think I went back to sleep each time...
Dad got up around 4:30, ate his two Sausage Biscuits
and went right back to bed... I don't think
that's the best habit to be in but hey,
he is 93!
Drink a cup of coffee,
Eat his biscuits,
feed Casey when he isn't supposed to :-)
And then get back in bed when
it's "all gone"...
Our morning ritual
and we LOVE it!
Two day germination,
under weights...
2 day Black Out...
Ok, so out to the Flock and Fluffle...
and Lanny came up with the perfect name for the goats...
Flock, Fluffle, Friskies and Fins...
Anna and Elsa...
Penny...
still nothing from Gabby... :-(
Sparkley Day!
Two this morning...
Three more a little later...
Storms rolling in
but he is working on the goat house :-)
First crash of thunder and Mitzi is ruined for the night...
shaking ande panting.
I need to get her some tranquilizers for storms.
We have had her for 14 years,
and although she is better than she was when we got her,
she is still terrified of wind, rain and especially thunder!
Fireworks and gunfire are also on the list!
I made dinner early.
We thought we might lose power (but we didn't!!)
Pork Short Ribs, Stewed Potatoes and
Spiral Zucchini in Butter and Garlic Sauce...
YUM!!
Except that just as we sat down
Paula hollered at us for our side yard...
the roofs of the bunny hutches had blown off!!
Scared our poor bunnies near to madness...
we screwed them down
and Lanny had to go chase on down the hill...
by the time we went back in our dinner was cold,
but microwaves work miracles.

We are ready to settle down on the couch
and watch some more of The Chosen...
we are into season 2...
