Saturday on Waldens Mountain... March 25

Quiet Time...

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen."

Hebrews 11:1 KJV

*****

Well, the lights were going off and on and Mom and Dads buzzers were going off and on, Mitzi was shaking and panting...

...the storm won this morning... I had to get up to make sure Mom and Dad had some lights...

by the time I got back there

the lights were back on to stay...

Hit go on the coffee pot and just rolled with it :-)

Bible Study Time with my two fur babies
tucked tight against both sides...

And Mitzi panting and shaking waiting for her Daddy...

Murphy's little paw pads...

Mitzi likes to snuggle with her Daddy in a storm...
thank goodness...
I only have two sides!!

And you can see how terrified Maggie is :-)
Nothing bothers Mags and Murph...

Greens are greening!

Had three trays of Avocado Slices in the freeze dryer...
thankfully they were done when the power went off...

Flock, Fluffle and Fin Time...

And one of the turtles was out this morning.
I am sure she will go back under the soil several times before she is out to stay.
But I always LOVE seeing the first turtle
come out of hibernation!!

I'll have to add "Shells" to my description...
Flock, Fluffle, Fins and Shells...

Made the men Fried Duck Eggs, Sausage and Toast...
That's what they love!

Putting in the frozen Chicken Thighs
that Lanny prepped yesterday...

Sand box time!

Casey is Mommas dog...
he has been spending more and more time in the kitchen
with me and in here with our fur babies...
Mom is so quiet and doesn't move
and he may not even know she is still there.
We have worried about him but hopefully
he has friends in our three and will be OK...

They like to dig deep holes in the coop floor
and do some dust bathing in here...

Sun bathing!

Look close...
a Lady Bug is on the Honeysuckle...

This is an American Honeysuckle, not Japanese,
and not invasive. It doesn't even wrap and cling to anything.
You have to trellis and train it.
And it is beautiful in bloom!!

Made the men Grilled Cheese for lunch...

Lanny ate his "Picnic Style"...
Nebula jumped up and stole half his sandwich
right out if his hand!

So I brought them out some goodies...
Berries from the Sparkley...

Rufous Sided Towhee...
They are SO beautiful!!!

Pepper

Buffy

Penelope and Nebula...

Coppertina and Barb...

This is gonna be the cutest Goat Playground ever!!

Fresh topping of Pine Flakes for the coop...

AND, for the Goat House...

Opal wanted to check out the upper levels...

I made some Barbecues Pork MiniWiches for supper...
They were quite good, and FAST!

I was able to get Mom to eat three small cups of pudding, applesauce and baby food today.
And she has drunk a little water.
Paula and I have "turned" her several times.
Actually we don't turn her, we just prop one side
and then the other with a pillow,
to keep the pressure off that vulnerable area of her spine.
She cannot lay on her sides at all...

We watched the original Terminator last night
and tonight will be T2...
I like Arnold better as a good Terminator :-)

Goodnight Y'all...
God bless us, Every One...
Sweet Dreams!
