Wednesday on Walden's Mountain... April 5

Quiet Time...

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23
*****
I'm doing a little better...
laying in an extra 15 minutes :-)

Only Maggie and Mitzi
this morning...

Murphy stayed in our bed too long...
I was already up and at it
and he didn't get to lay by me during Bible Study...
He was a little bit hurt...
But it was his own fault!

Flock, Fluffle and Fins...
soon we will add Friskies!!!
(the goats)

I sure hope my Hosta
hasn't jumped the gun a little too soon!

Lanny looking for a water line...
they are still trying to figure out
where Rob's water comes in
and what is leaking...

Making deep holes to roll in
in the coop floor!

Hmmm...
Duck egg, not even inside!
They just don't care where they lay!

Lanny is putting in an old sink we acquired
for our processing station...
rabbits and chickens when the time comes.
Also, it will just be good to have a sink out here
for when we are just plain dirty!!

Of course, the chickens want to help!

Bringing in the MULE
to haul away some scrap wood
from all these projects!

And of course,
the chickens STILL want to help.
Plus get the buggies
that have been hiding under the wood pile!

They LOVE to get in the MULE...
and under it!

For supper we had Pork Loin,
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy,
Home Canned Green Beans...
and Pudding and Graham Crackers for Dessert...

Mom is about the same.
The nurse said she could go on home at any time.
Her blood pressure is unreadable and she doesn't respond to anything except when we move her arm or leg...
Brother Steve came to see her today
(thank you Steve)...
She actually made a sound when he spoke to her.
I told him she won't speak to me so he is special :-)
God is good.
She has moments of restless legs
but a little bit of pain medicine usually fixes that...
she does not seem to be in pain otherwise.
Thank you for your prayers...

God bless and Sweet Dreams!
