Good Morning...

Max sure loves his Daddy!

We love to open the door in the early morning hours 

and listen to the frogs, crickets and birds...

Perfect background sounds for Bible Study Time...

Time to take care of the Microgreens...

Two day germination...another day under weight....

Green is just about my favorite color :-)

Needs one more day of Black Out...

Greens are cared for, bed's made,

pups and kitty fed...

Now, out to the wet barnyard...

it has rained SO much the last few days...

Puddles everywhere!

They don't mind at all!!

Tree Swallows are growing!

What a mouth on that girl...

she is like a vacuum cleaner!

Paula gave me a lovely Chenille Bedspread and Shams 

and Mitzi loves them nearly as much as I do :-)

Unfortunately, I have to cover everything 

with waterproof toppers...

Murphy (yes, adorable little Murphy)

has separation anxiety,

 

even if I just leave the house to go out to the barn...

he tinkles on things... :-)

Mexican Street Corn...

out of the freeze dryer and into storage jars...

these won't last long...

it's delicious...

Lots of rain this past week...

1 1/2 inches just last evening...

Sparkley Time...

Fried Eggs, Sausage and Toast for my Men!

Rhoda caught a frog...

I was too late to save him...

Chickens eat frogs, snakes, rats and mice,

pretty much anything small enough that they can catch...

this frog was nearly too much, but she managed!

They were enjoying dust bathing inside the coop today...

their sandboxes were a little damp from the humidity...

Caught this guy racing 

across the open area near the coop...

had to chase him all around the yard...

I relocated him down below the horse pasture.

I love having them around

 

but NOT this close to the coop...

For Supper I made some Rice, 

warmed up some left over Pintos, 

added some Diced Tomatoes,

Bell Peppers, Onions and Garlic...

Also Biscuits!

YUM!!

Evening Chores are done,

Goats are snug in their house with fresh water, hay and feed

without the chickens crowding in...
