Friday already!

Was ready for Dad...

he got up a little after 5...

Snuggle Buddies...

Eating his Breakfast Burrito with an audience!

No changes in the Microgreens room...

Lanny and I got into a deep discussion about

the state of the world...

anyway, I was a little late getting out to my critters :-)

They forgave me :-)

Look at this mingle...

it isn't totally without incident,

but much better than it was...

When17 biddies all get together 

it's bound to be a little tense sometimes!

But I DID have some soldier fly grubs for them

and they were happy about that!

Grain Time...

Bunnies are always watching for me too...

they are ready for some feed..

Hope this gal is pregnant...

Hope this one is too...

No problem with the fish...

they are always hungry too!

Lanny moved the bird house over a little on a better pole...

it nearly always has renters...

Prepping basil for the freeze dryer...

Also Cilantro...

Boy does it smell good in the house this morning...

Sparkley Day...

Here are the three little bitty eggs I got this week...

I will let you know if they have a yolk when I decide to crack them...

they are too cute for now...

Organic Banana Peels

for my Kids...

And some lettuce and cabbage left overs

for the Chicks and Ducks...

Also carrot and lettuce for the Buns...

These two want whatever the chickens are having...

Made us some Black Forest Ham Sandwiches for lunch...

Lanny and I rested under the fan after lunch...

it is REALLY hot outside today...

I did go out and sit with the goats in the far back for a little while...

they love to come back here but not alone...

and this morning we had a hawk swoop down and go for a duck...

no one was injured but I sure hate when that happens...

the ducks are probably too heavy but a hawk can sure hurt one if it grabs it...

My Gabby was hurt VERY bad you remember...

so glad she recovered!!

Found a "buy one get one free" deal on Pork Loin...

YUM... 

This is actually one package... it had two small loins (perfect for us) in each. 

So we have another meal waiting in the freezer. 

Used my home grown herbs to season 

and cooked to perfection!

YUM!!!

Made Mashed Potatoes, Gravy,

Green Beans (home canned),

Roasted Sweet Peppers and Cherry Tomatoes (from the garden)...

SO VERY GOOD!!!

It is SO HOT out there...

but we got the Goats stowed away for the night.

The Chicks and Ducks got their scratch treats...

a few scoops of Soldier Fly Grubs...

fresh cool water...

so they will be ready to go to bed at sunset...

I am ready for Jammies

and a treat or two of my own...

So, last night we ended up watching

"Grease"...

figured we'd do another musical/dance movie after

West Side Story :-)

Tonight we will watch American Graffiti!
